The constraint
The org needed a site that worked for low-bandwidth users, was operable by non-technical staff, and could convert visitors into volunteers without a human in the loop.
The approach
A Next.js frontend with an optimised media pipeline, WCAG-aligned components, and a volunteer-registration service that handled sign-up, confirmation, and admin review without manual steps.
